Programming your remote::
On an existing remote, press down the micro-button (use a pen!) in direct proximity of the receiver, immediately followed by pushing down the the button on the front with which you operate the door/gate. The receiver is now in programming mode. Within 10 seconds, repeat the exact same thing on your new remote.
