Detection loops

To detect vehicles at gates and barriers, detection loops are used. with correct assembly, these record the presence of ferrous metals. This is now happening induction. For this there must be sufficient mass of the ferrous metal. The disadvantage is that metals like aluminum are not recognized. The mass of (moped) bicycles, motorcycles and prams can also be insufficient to respond. These systems are not suitable for the detection of persons and animals.
