To attach the external emergency release, you must drill a hole with a diameter of 19 mm for the cylinder lock, and two holes with a diameter of 6.5 mm for the 1/4 inch-20x2-1/2 incl. – mounting screws. See the template attached. All holes in the garage door must be drilled from the outside in.
