At Parkeerapparatuur.nl, sustainability and environmental awareness are central. That is why
we participate in the WEEE regulation (Electronic and Electrical Equipment Act) to make a
positive contribution to the environment. The WEEE regulation is designed to ensure the
correct processing of waste electrical and electronic equipment and thus minimize the
impact on the environment.
What is the WEEE regulation?
The WEEE regulation aims to promote the recycling and reuse of electrical and electronic
equipment. This not only helps to safely remove harmful substances, but also ensures the
recovery of valuable raw materials.
Our Responsibility
As a webshop, we sell various parking equipment, including products that fall under the
WEEE regulation. We ensure that:
- Our products comply with the relevant legislation.
- We are a collection point for the return of waste electronic products.
- Your old devices are disposed of and recycled in the correct, environmentally friendly
manner.
How Does It Work?
- Request: When you purchase a new device from us, you can request a return using our
WEEE form (using the order number, email address and description of the item to be
returned). - Approval: When our logistics service approves, you will be notified how and where you can
return the item. - Collection: When your old devices are received by us, they are stored in special
environmental storage boxes. - Recycling: Our partner ensures the safe disposal, processing and recycling of your old
equipment. - Awareness: We encourage all our customers to think about the environment and the life
cycle of their products.
